A New Name: from Gone Adventuring to Vi


WHY A NAME CHANGE?

Vi stems from "Vi"tality. Gone Adventuring was the spirit of constant discovery and growth in movement, in the world around us and how we move in it. We have grown into a new name which resonates with the heart of our pursuit; that being, training for vitality and longevity in all our workouts. We felt it was time to reflect this heart as it gives clear definition to our purpose.


WHAT TO EXPECT?

In the past few years there has been a wild increase of knowledge pouring out into the air waves about what is essential for helping us age well. From anti-aging, longevity, peri-menopause and menopause for women's health, we have hopped on and dove deep into these studies. We have spent much time interviewing and working with experts in the field, as well as working on ourselves and our in-studio clients to know what works best, what feels good, and what yields optimal results.


Through this, Kristi developed a method that she has tried and tested, this is the Vi Method. If you have tried our "Build and Lift Program" you have tested this method. Integrating the 5 pillars of movement necessary to experience optimal vitality and longevity. Vi Method classes integrate Pilates, Progressive weight lifting, Hiit, and Plyometrics all in one class. These classes are meant to give you quality of movement and training, providing a complete workout. There would be no need to add anything else outside of these type classes other than daily walks (always recommended) and what you simply enjoy doing actively. This should save you time, energy and effort, to have more time to do what you love, while being assured you are taking care of your body's strength and mobility needs.


WHAT ABOUT PURE PILATES CLASSES?

You will still have Pilates only workouts available for those of you who like to mix and match and direct your training the way you want.

You'll find all our workouts you know well on our On Demand page.

They are organized in descending order by Program Collections and Equipment to help you navigate.


WHERE CAN I SEARCH OR FIND FILTERS?

You can also search for a specific video in the search bar (top right), use filters (top left) where you can also access your new favorited videos, classes already taken or not yet taken.


WHAT ABOUT MY FAVORITES?

Your old favorites were unable to transition over to the new platform. You can search for them, favorite them again and create a new list. 


WHAT'S NEW?

We will have a weekly schedule of hand picked workouts for you featured at the top of the list on our on demand page. These workouts are thoughtfully strung together to give you a great full body, full week workout. Make sure to try this out! Many will be featured on the Reformer as this machine is at the heart of our training here; some will be featured with other equipment.
